How to Contribute
You can contribute to support the development and growth of Globasa's community in a variety of ways.
Regardless of proficency level in Globasa, feel free to contact us if you would like to volunteer in the following capacity:
Beginning speakers: Learn about our community and start learning and using Globasa
- Familiaze yourself with Globasa's current state of development.
- Learn and practice Globasa in the various forums by engaging in conversations on a variety of topics. This is the most important contribution beginners can make to sustain the development of both the language and its community.
- Hold off on publishing content or proposing new words until you become more proficient. Although you may feel tempted to jump straight into creative contributions, waiting until you are ready helps prevent the language’s development from stagnating due to an abundance of error-laden or non-standard content.
Intermediate speakers: Propose new words and develop certain types of content appropriate for your level:
- study the Word Proposal Process and Methodology for Lexical Development before proposing new root words on the Globasa subreddit
- propose derived words on the Globasa Discord Server
- create memes
- create merch designs, while being sure to have the text proofread by advanced or fluent speakers
Advanced and fluent speakers: Propose new words and develop any type of content:
- write or edit Wiki articles
- write original texts in Globasa and proofread your own work
- translate texts and proofread your own work
- create YouTube videos in Globasa
- translate the Globasa website into your language through proofreading. We are currently working on the Esperanto translation and still need volunteers.
